Massachusetts Regional Team

Hi everyone! I recently won the Regional Championships in Massachusetts, putting at over 600 CP. This is the team I used to achieve this amazing accomplishment as well as my attempt to remember what I played/ who I played.

Let's start off with an explanation for the team. I really wanted to try something else out that was not a Big 6 variant. However, nothing was working for me. I decided to just use Cresselia over Talonflame because it is bulkier and can set up Trick Room and support Groudon to help win games.

Pretty much everything is the same as it was in VA, except Groudon is slower and is meant to take Earth Powers and Cresselia is there to Trick Room rather than Talonflame with Tailwind.

The Event

I was still pretty nervous going into this event. In order to get anything notable, I needed to get top 16 and I felt like people would just destroy me with Dual Primals. Here is who I played and what they used.

Conclusion

I'm really glad I did so well at this event, putting me at over 600 CP and even closer to a day 2 invite. Hopefully, I can keep this up and do well at Nationals and even worlds! I will try and use a different team for Nationals that is not Xerneas and Groudon because I am tired of it. It was a fun weekend, see you all whenever I make another one these!
